Don't know what your style is? That’s ok, every interior style has its own charm, and here are some categories to help you choose what’s right for you. 

 

BOHO

With boho styling, ultimately you want to create a space with warm, earthy tones and natural elements, to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel happy.  Not only is the furniture light in colour, but the room is also layered with varying textures, such of woven pots, cushions and throws and a pop of greenery literally brings the room to life. Add a jute or textured rug to complete the area and it ties all the elements into one cohesive room, it is all about being creative using your own personal bohemian decor style.  


COUNTRY LIVING

If you prefer a more casual look then the country style maybe you, it’s crucial with this design that it incorporates organic elements into the space by using natural timbers, leathers, cotton fabrics, that add character to create country charm.  Neutral colours such as whites, taupes, creams, greys, blacks, and browns make up the signature country design palette to create an airy feel that opens and enhances a room. 


CONTEMPORARY

Haven’t found a style for you yet well try this one! it is all about balance, sophistication, symmetry and simplicity, slick lines with pieces that match, nothing feels out of place. There is an emphasis on quality from the furniture and fabrics to the finishes and accessories. Colours are usually white, black, grey and sometimes with a small splash of colour as an accent.  


HAMPTONS

Hampton’s styling has a fresh colour palette of blue, green and whites with touches of linen, bleached coral and white timber furniture which work beautifully in Australian homes giving it a relaxed carefree vibe. Ginger jars, fiddles leaf, and corals feature heavily as décor with-in this style.  


URBAN

This fun style refers to the trend that takes ideas from old factories and industrial spaces and have been converted into lofts and other living spaces. Components of industrial style include rustic colours of weathered wood, iron, rugged exposed brick, and concrete to give its unfinished cool modern vibe. Colours are usually rust, black, green and neutrals. 


MID CENTURY MODERN

If you love a style that is simplistic, with clean lines and refined shapes then mid modern interior design concept is for you. Furniture with sleek shapes are the key elements and add some softness to your room with a soft or geometric rug, prints, in symmetrical patterns and keep accessories uncluttered to prevent any fuss well with the mid-century style. 

 


TRADITIONAL

This old-school European style, with its ornate and elegant details, this is now referred to as “traditional”.  Elements of this design include dark woods, marble, scrolled iron work with antique finishes to bring this classic style to life, silk flowers in detailed vases and shiny decorative accessories in golds are often used as décor to add glamour. Leather and velvets and jacquards and accents colours of browns, creams, golds create a calm ambiance throughout the home.
